Current Procrastination Project

Procrastination. We all do it. This is my current procrastination project. My procrastination on this big boy wood panel is now legendary.

Why am I procrastinating? Mainly because scaling up my process is very daunting. I’ve worked hard at perfecting my process on my small paintings, but for my upcoming exhibition I want large paintings as well. The process does scale up, but… it’s not easy.

Also it’s very messy. Earlier this year I moved my practice out of my studio and into my home. Actually, into my lounge room. And this process is quite messy on small works, but it’s controllable. On big works it is very messy. Yikes!

Ok I WILL begin this big boy painting. I WILL begin it this week. (Damn, it’s already Thursday!)

What is your current procrastination project and how is it going?
